The Big Dance At the Sweet Sixteen
March Madness arrived in San Jose and I went to their open practice this afternoon and watched two temas play. This is the #1 seeded Kansas Jayhawks. They were putting on a show for the media and didn't really practice. They actually left early too!
1. Dancing on the big stage
2. Just happy
3. Lay-up drill
4. basket
5. Catch and Release
6. Defending the "little guy"
C&C are welcomed. I was having some exposure problems since this is the first time that I have shot basketball and I'm used to ice hockey.

1. They were just happy to take the floor and everyone touched the net the moment they walked underneath it.
2. People clapped when he made his free throw. I heard that he missed them constanly during the game, but he made *every* single one he took. Nerves?
3. Yellow guy. Any one know why a few guys were wearing yellow?
4. Basket (with intensity)
5. Free Throw Practice
6. Even his teammates watch him score
7. With five minutes to go, the coached made everyone shoot from the mid-court and beyond. To my surprise, he took a ball, launched it and swish it went! Wow! And he kept on shooting and made about four of them from this distance. Impressive!
8. Lauch Time!
9. The guys were even trying it backwards!
C&C welcomed. From reading the various posts on dgrin, I tried to get actions shots with faces.
I really like the Yellow Guy (#3 from the second series).
Basketball can be really, really tough to shoot. The light is never very good and you're forever fighting busy backgrounds. In your Yellow Guy shot the background is still busy but it's out of focus. The background blurs while the nice sharp subject pops right out. Nice work
