    Those're awesome! Nicely done!

    The first one has some weird bands about 1/3 and 2/3s of the way across the image in the horizontal direction. Did you shoot the pano with a polarizer?

    That second pano-- I've been trying to get results like that. very very nice!

    On the first one I wasn't planning on doing this type of shot but I liked how it had the three elements of the bridge, the ship and the Opera House in the one photo.

    I didn't use a polarizer in this case. I would love to reshoot it again when the QE2 revisits and do it properly with better techniques. This time using tripod, vertical orientation and avoid using a wide angle zoom. Maybe even earlier in the day as the exposure difference was too great with the sun setting in the left of the picture. I'll know for next time :)

    Thanks Canon 17-55 f2/8 on a 20D. The IS and fast lens came in real handy for the handheld shots like this (f2.8 1/4s iso 800)
