Guest Account privileges

I read some of this in another thread, but I can't find it again...

I have a Pro account that I am using to host photos from a group a friends/acquaintances. I was using the guest account to allow them to upload photos that they want to share with the group - but I want them to create their own galleries, etc.

Now, from the previous thread, I understand that while the can see the control panel, the guest user can't really change anything... they can see the data entry pages, but they get an error when they try to submit. I have confirmed this.

If this is the case, then what is the point of even allowing them to see the Control Panel. I particularly don't like them seeing my personal info....

Thanks

Hi and welcome. Sorry, it's just the way it is. The guest password was designed for a "photog's assistant" sort of thing. It'll work the way you describe, but you have to understand the limits.

I wish I had a different answer for you!

    Thanks...

Is there a way, through customization, to hide the "Control Panel" link or the entire "Tools" bar when the guest logs in?

Yeah, that was the thread I had read before...

    Another Guest account related question....

Can multiple users login as Guest simultaneously?
Is there a maximum number of Guests that can logon simultaneously?

    Thanks
