I'll be attending Wrestlemania next weekend, and hopefully sneaking my Canon 350D in.......

I have seats close to the ring and a Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM lens all ready to go. Hopefully I won't need to use flash (no point attracting the attention of security!)

What I need to know is whether the available light at this kind of event will be sufficient to avoid the use of flash if I bump the ISO up a few notches?

Most of the action will be floodlit, with a few colour washes at certain points.
God save us from those who believe in you.

Canon 350D
Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM
Canon 50mm f/1.8
Sigma 75-300mm DG Macro
Tamron 19-35mm
Canon 18-55mm (the crapper)
Canon BG-02 battery grip

I think you are somehow not going to be allowed to use your camera with a flash, and I'd be surprised if they let you use your camera even without the flash......... well good luck anyways :D ..... Skippy

Don't use flash.........It seems funny that they wouldn't allow photos, as every one of those WWF Raw or what ever they are called on TV, I see flashes going off all thru the crowds.....and I do figger that most are P/S ....

Yes they are very well lit as they do tape tons of those matches to use late on down the road...............

    Good luck

    Cheers Art.

They DO allow P/S cameras - you can take as many as you want in there. I was just a bit concerned that the less educated security members may consider a DSLR to be a 'professional' camera and not let me use it.

I guess I'll just take my chances!
