    Wow. Very nice, moody sky. Killin' it with the Grad ND. Love the reeds in the FG as well.

    I didn't use a Grad ND filter. It's one exposure. I tweaked it in RAW for the sky and opened it in Photoshop. Then I tweaked it for the foreground and opened that in Photoshop. Then I blended the two images together seamlessly with a layer mask and gradient. After that some serious post processing in PS and it was done. Glad you like it.

    I stand corrected! What I love about this image, is that I imagine the way it looks now is very much how you saw it in your head when you shot the image. I believe balanced, dramatic post-processing like this takes direction and vision, and it appears you have it all! If you can see it in your head when you click the shutter, it's as good as captured (provided you do the technical part right). Again, very nice image.

    so peaceful and calm. The weeds almost look as if they were raked neatly, just for the photo :D

    Nice to see some good non-hdr processing being done. I've seen so many images where it's so overdone.
