Question Regarding Fraternity Composites

My fraternity has asked me if they think i would be able to do our composites to save money this year, and before i accepted, i just wanted to see what you guys think is possible with the resources i have.
Currently i own:
Nikon D50
Nikkor 80-200 2.8 AF-D
kit 18-55mm lens
Nikkor 55-200mm Telephoto.
Nikon SB-600 Speedlight
I work for the school newspaper, and i am fairly confident that i can get some equipment from them (strobes etc) that will help me to produce professional quality prints.
Any other sugesstions for me? any tips on lighting/where things shoud be? any little bit helps!
