3 Years ago I was still trying to see how much weight I could lift . I decided to quit after reaching 410kg [ 900lb] but was pretty lucky that I don't have any injuries now that I think back .... this was my first attempt at 400kg

Actually it has come in useful in that way a few times , a carpark is full except for on guy with the back of his car over another parking . It probably takes about 250 kg of effort to move the tail end over and use the parking next to him .thumb.gif . But otherwise I suppose it is a mixture of the adrenalin that takes over as you go heavier and just the desire to see how much a person can do , pretty silly reasons when you consider what could go wrong but I stopped doing it .... and climbed Ruapehu and slept in a snow caveon top . I slipped and fell coming down the next day but halted my rapid descent with the ice axe which got ripped out of my hand and left me dangling on the safety strap ... now I stick more to photography .rolleyes1.gif

This one was not volluntary .... the bus turned in front of me and the fire department cut me out , luckily my two compact cameras on the floor were not damaged but a bypasser couldn't dig them out for me to get a few shots so i had to rely on this one from the newspaper reporter ....
