Some more pics from Paynes Prairie

Besides the 'gators there were also an abundance of birds at the prairie. The first three I used my Nikon 80-400mm on manual focus (the auto has gone bad on me) and the last three I used a Nikon 18-200mm lens.

    Lots o' those 'gators round those parts- not even counting the ones you might see over on the sports forum. Last time I was thru there I saw some tourists feeding a big one. rolleyes1.gif

    Yea, that was the most alligators I have ever seen in a non-captive area.

    Thanks Harry. But how do I avoid that on a very bright sunny day when a white bird is involved. I know that you do it but I haven't managed it yet. Would a polarizer help?
