Black & White conversion - tribal style :)
Shot with the 80-200f/2.8
B+W conversion using the blue channel.
I thought this came out cool, especially with his already dark skin. My assistant told me he doesn't look good in pictures, I'm trying to prove him wrong.
Told him this had National Geographic written all over it. :barb(He's been one of my best friends for over 10 years, so I can make fun.)

Wow, great shot. His eyes just seem comforting, like I can feel safe in his presence. I really love the character of this. Nice job!
Trista.
I really like the fact that his shirt had all those stripes on the colar. It almost makes it look like one of those old TV test patterns they used to run on the screen.
like such:
kind of cool.
You've done well by him! I've browsed your galleries before and actually spotted him and thought, "he'd be a great subject - he has photogenic written all over him".
I find it amusing (in a good way) that he thinks he is not photogenic. Is he not the same assistant of yours who caused such a big reaction amongst the Dgrin women a few weeks ago?
