Inquisitive Egyptian Goose

Hi - coulden't resist taking a picture of this Egyptian Goose at close range. Photographed in a local forest on the outskirts of The Hague.

Nikon D50 + Nikkor 18-200VR lens@ focal length 200mm. Settings: in aperture priority mode f/10, shutter speed 1/200 & iso 200.

    I've heard from dutch friends and family that Holland is a mayor migration route for many exotic bird species of that region. Assuming you're a local, we can hopefully look forward to seeing many more of these fine examplesclap.gifclap.gifclap.gif . Thanks for sharing, Herman

    Hi Al - Not this time (unfortunately)! Within a local forest which is approx. 1 km from where I reside. Presume that series of lion pix was taken in the Tuli block area? I never got beyond Thabazimbi in that direction!
