This shot taken down at Waitomo , New Zealand was one of those spontaneous shots . We had finished the formals and were walking back to the car and all tired [ I took 1100 pictures , a lot of them with and without flash as comparisons ] but when I saw the doves on the ground I said to them "it would look cool of you ran at those doves " and they said "why not !" ...

this is a neat shot, very different. I love the color tone, and the vignette effect gives it a nostalgic feel. my only wish is that they were coming AT you, instead of away! but that is so much easier said than done, i know, and the photo still works. Very nice!

Once we saw the pictures I said to them "I should have sneaked around to the other side first ' but they said they quite liked it . Anyway I'm learning each time ....
