So the kids wanted a dog and I found Abbey for them. Love this dog but they are high maintenance or at least this one is. Very hyper and loves to chew. There are times that I wonder why we got this dog who tears up everything and other times when she climbs up in my lap in the morning (all 65 pounds of her) and looks at me with those golden eyes and 139502431-M.jpgbegs to be petted that my heart melts. Well anyway here are some pics of Abbey.

Weimaraners are great animals. They are very similar in temperment to GSPs. Like you, sometimes I become exasperated with "look at me, play with me" attitude. These dogs must get out into the field to run, where they can wear themselves out and give you a break.

Just remember that she WANTS to please you....so....be firm and consistant. She'll come around.

Here' a shot of Winslow from awhile back.

Great shots of you Whim. They are inded need a lot of excerise. Training a dog same as dealing with kids, don't give in!! They must earn everything they demand. Follow the program NILIF (Nothing In Life Is Free) Once they do they'll be pleasure to have around. I've done some dog training, ask any questions you want.
