No light to speak of today -this was shot with just the flash and then I pushed the exposure in post processing. I like the first one, but I think I missed the composition on the second (too centered).

    Nice.

On the second one you might trying rotating left about 45 degrees and recrop. Might help the visual aspect IMO.

I never crop any of my images -if I don't nail the composition with the view finder then I have to try again...

Good shots but I think I might have tried to do something with the BG which is very noisy with the exposure pushing.

I wasn't sure if that background was gonna be a good thing or a bad thing -not my normal style of shooting mwink.gif

Thats the beauty of Digital though,
doesn't matter if they don't turn out quite the way you wanted,
you can always dump the shot later,
and it doesn't cost anything to be able to view it first :D ... Skippy

True, but I don't like shooting that way. I normally get the correct exposure to within 2/3 of a stop or less. But I've been experimenting with some new techniques and the light was poor. I should have gone home and shot some abstracts rolleyes1.gif

I think it would be great to go shooting with Brian, but we're almost at different ends of Europe :(
