These were taken after a snowfall, on a sunless day so I turned them into BW since they had almost no color in them at all. So I just wanted to see if they are any good. Thanks.

    Elena,

I think they are beautiful (I love snow scenes). I particularly like the first one. It has the best composition of the three.

    Thanks for sharing them!

Thank you for the kind response, Amy
I appreciate it! The first one is my favorite also.

Hi Elena, I am fascinated by snow and ice nod.gif cause I just don't see it here, in the part of Australia where I live.

These B&W's are interesting with the lines of the trees and the soft almost trail like lines in the icey waters .... nice series thumb.gif ..... Skippy

I really like the 2nd one - the zig-zag line in the ice brings you into the picture.

    Looks cold!

Thanks! I live in Michigan so six months of the year it is cold and we get snow. I like the starkness feel of it. Things look quite different when covered in white. Thanks for commenting on the pics.

    Elena.
