Life's keeping me away from the camera right now, and the little time that I am getting behind the viewfinder has the lens pointed at my little daughter. Here's one from this past winter, taken at Mystic Aquarium, Mystic, CT

Canon 50mm 1.4 with rubber hood pressed to glass
f/1.4; 1/20s; ISO400

Really cool shot like the angle of it too. I went to Mystic several years ago, but never thought of going to Mystic during the winter. eek7.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Ethereal. It's a wonderful creature.
Only today I was looking through a travel magazine at the supermarket that listed various aquariums around Japan - I want to go to one, but it's a ong drive from where I live...

This almost looks like something that a graphic artist might produce using one of those 3D rendering programs.

    Very nice.:D

There is a good portion of it that is outdoors, but all in all, it was quite nice to spend some time there in the off season. I'm local, so it's only about an hour drive for me.

Thanks for the look and kind comments.

Mystic is a fabulous little sea-coast town in Connecticut (http://www.mystic.org/) that, at least for my lifestyle, is a joy to visit each and every time. I can't say much of it is as "Mystic" looking as my image is, but if seaports, old-world New England, and gorgeous Colonial Architecture are treats to you, this place is a great day-trip.

Fantasitic. My work looks pale in comparison.

Ted, I certainly hope you're kidding... I just looked at your page and I think that opening image with multiple jellyfish blows mine out of the water (good place for that pun, I guess). You've got a great image there.

I'll go back and check out the rest of your images later; I'm at work. Thank you, however, for the very kind comment.
