Hi there--

I've successfully configured my account so when users type in:

www.StudioVoxPop.com

they are taken to my smugmug site.

However, if a user types in:

http://StudioVoxPop.com

they are not forwarded to my smugmug site.

Is there anyway to configure things so that no matter which version is typed, the user goes to my site?

Justin

    Joker.com suggests the following:

    CNAME for www.yourdomain.com
URL forward for yourname.com to www.yourname.com
    Michael Chamberlin
    Michael Chamberlin Photography
    www.chamberlinphoto.com
    michael@chamberlinphoto.com

Sorry, we don't like forwarding and WE don't recommend it. CNAME only please.

Andy, what about forwarding from yourdomain to www.yourdomain in which www.yourdomain has a CNAME to www.smugmug.com? It's what's recommending by Joker.com.
    Dear Sir/Madam,

    thank you for your email.

To use your Joker.com Doamin with smugmug.com you should create a CNAME that points your domain to smugmug.com.

The CNAME should look like www.mscimages.com = CNMANE = www.smugmug.com

To use the domain itself with smugmug.com you should create a URL forward that point to www.mscimages.com.

The URL forward should look like [empty] = URL = www.mscimages.com

To setup the DNS/URL-Forwarding please perform the following steps:
    1) Login to the "Service Zone" with the email of the owner-c, admin-c or tech-c
    2) at the "Domain Settings" section select "proceed"
    3) in the field "Nameservice, Mailaddresses and URL-Forwarding" choose "change" and select the domain you want to setup

Modifications at the Joker.com web interface will immediately take effekt, but be aware the worldwide nameserver update might take 1-2 workdays.

If you are looking for information about the URL-Forward / URL-Redirect please go to our FAQ section 11.

Please use the webwhois, to check the data for the domain you asked for.

We hope, this answers your questions to your satisfaction.

    Best regards,

    your Joker.com team

I'm not understanding these instructions. My domain is set up through Yahoo. If I try to set up a new CNAME record, I cannot put @.studiovoxpop.com as the source. It will not let me. Am I putting the '@' symbol in the wrong place?
