My take on the comment is my perception. Their seems to be little contrast between the model's body and the window. The lighting in the window seems blown out and it blends with the model.

Well, the two previous comments could just mean they don't like the high key look, or it could be that, like me, they want just a bit more contrast in the skin, like this:
As a sexy portrait of her I think it is awsome. The dark hair really draws your attention to her face right away. But if it was an add for the lingerie then I think it is too light and doesn't center on the lingerie enough. So depending on what the image was created for it is either really good, or a bit too bright. Did you use any fill lighting or reflectors on this shot? I'm also curious on how you meter for high key shots like this. Do you spot meter on her body or use incident metering and boost the exposure a stop or two? Glad you're posting images again.

This is meant to be a sexy portrait - it was a model test, so it's all about her and her body. Who cares about the lingerie/clothing in this case! (not me, hahah) I didn't use any fill lighting or reflectors, besides the room walls, which were white, and had a whole wall of windows and sunlight coming through. The room lights were on too, but they didn't really have anything to do with the lighting. I metered for the incoming light, and then bumped the camera up 3 stops from that... basically tried to get the window white. HTH.
Given your stated goal, I think you did a wonderful job of getting attention focused on her face. Her very dark hair just draws one's attention. The bright lighting does, IMO, tend to reduce one's ability to easily see her skin/body. The inhanced contrast job that DrIT did helps to solve that issue.

i'm going to agree with the comments about the lightness/contrast not being perfect. i dont like that the center of the picture is kinda blown out too much, while the rest of her is not. i can definitely let it slide because the more and more i look at it and the closer i look, the more i love it. i can see that you have just enough detail to outline her body, so,
i don't love the crop. i wouldn't mind seeing more of the bottom of the frame, but i also wouldn't mind seeing less.
I like both images (the original and the edited version). I like high-key glamour and fashion. Heck, I even like high-key portraiture. I don't ever recall seeing many fashion shots that were low-key, therefore I naturally assumed that this was going to be a fashion-related shot when I saw 'lingerie" in the title.
I prefer binghott's crop. I like the pose, and the model's ability to project expression. I wonder if I would like it more if the background were even more exposed, but as it is the excellent DOF negates the issue. I think you've done well with this shot. Thanks for sharing.

The model and the pose are great. I just wish the window light were more diffused.

IMHO, with a stunning model and a delicious pose this image is a winner if only the girl were less lost in the light.

I like it as you posted it...it allows the dark hair to draw me straight in. Very nice. Looking at building a studio myself so im taking it all in.
