Just got back from Steamboat Co. The sun set Friday night was kinda different.
Below is a Phoenix rising form the ice crystals and fire from the sun.
Ice in the clouds gave a great show.
This was the first time I was able to capture a icebow in the sky.
Nikon D200 100 ISO 55-200 ED AF lens no filters. I was surprised how good the photos turned aiming so close to the sun with this not so great lens.
No PS major changes used. The sun gave the blue a green cast. Yellow was desaturated in photoshop to make the blue blue.
