The flowers looked so fresh this morning after the rain. I went crazy for daisies.

    Hi Humungus,
I turned the temp to very cool when developing the raw files on these. It exaggerates the blue. I didn't intend for them to look like the true color. I was aiming for a more blue look. I did keep the stems and leaves green in the first one. Maybe the second one would look better a little less blue. I'm not sure where the purple came from in the third one, I think it may be the bark chips on the ground, but the flower is exactly that color orange. I wanted to change the color of the leaves because they are a sick yellow green with mottled grey spots. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

Thanks for the comment. They are not meant to look realistic. I was trying for POP.

I got Photoshop CS for Christmas and I've been trying out the RAW developing feature. I never had that much range before. Just shows what can be done with some sickly yellow green leaves.

Now that you have such POPin colors it might be fun to play with some of the PS filters, watercolors and such, I bet you could get some really striking images with these.

I'll try some of these things. Should be fun. In the meantime here's another daisy. Keep in mind I did not make any selections here. All I did was turn the temp cooler and slide the tint a little to the right, then I slid the shadow dial a little darker. The daisy was always orange and these adjustments didn't seem to change it. It didn't work this well on some other pictures. A few of them just seemed to have the blue there to work with.
