Yeah Randy I want to complement your on capture the major elements of sports photography.
nice clean backgrounds, faces, good action.
The only comment I have to make is there anyway to make the colors pop more, the colors seem a little flat.
thx winger...
it was an overcast day so this is what the colors looked like to the eye
i could bump the color saturations in PP but I shoot too many pics to do more than USM & crop
Fun shots to look at- well done.
I am surprised at how often their eyes are closed. Tough to hit the ball that way. Interesting look at the game
Thanks

thx
I shoot the ball where some shooters shoot players...
parents buy both but seem to prefer the action...
u see the eyes closed in all sports, it's usually a blink but is sometime a reflex action because the ball is coming close to the eyes
How do you get such sharp shots? Is it just the lens, or do you sharpen in post? If so, how?
i sharpen every pic, 100% of them
I prefer Nikon Capture and the amt of sharpening is based on the light, the lens, the cam body and just how it looks....
in NC I usually sharpen at 30,5,0 but sometimes go to 70,7,0 (for headshots of young people)
