Someone please help me. I usually shoot sports events using jpeg files. Today I shot a senior portrait session using RAW files in my 20D. The images look great in my camera but I don't seem to have a software program to open them with on my computer. Please tell me what I need, someone, anyone. I am ready to panic. It was a 2 hour photo session.
Thanks

    Barry,

What software are you using now? Many have RAW converters built in.

Your 20D came with a Canon RAW converter (DPP). If you haven't already done so, installl it.

I am using Photoshop 7. I just downloaded dpMagic which allows me to view the RAW thumbnails. Do you think I can download the Canon RAW converter from their web site? I seem to have misplaced my instalation cd, although I know that I downloaded everything on the disk when I bought my camera---I think...

Just be aware that DPP will give you a slightly warmer version of a file than will Photoshop. So keep an eye on your white balance.
