Long but fun day!!
We went to Cypress Gardens here in Florida where they were having the "World's Largest Egg Hunt"....500,000 eggs were scattered around the park!!
Some eggs included prizes......gift certificates, coupons, tickets to parks, and the whopper golden egg was to have a 2 year College Scholarship......
so my images go in this order:
The anticipation.....it is ice cream on his nose...I promise!!
When are we going to be let in to get those eggs??
He finally sees the eggs out in the field
Crowd starts out small
My daughter getting some eggs
I think we need a bigger bag!!! (my duaghter's friend)
The crowd starts growing and getting closer!!
My contribution between shots
Then we were invaded.....people were stuffing anything they could find!!
Notice everyone's shirts!!
Our bag once I told my kids they needed to chill because i was not gong to carry this massive thing back to the car!!!
Cleaned out!!!
Now the kicker was that you had to check ALL of your eggs before you left the park....if you had a "winning" egg, you prize must have been claimed by 7:00 this evening!! All I can say is that my kids will have to still rely on thier smarts to get their scholarships!!!
I hope you enjoyed this look at our day....we really had a lot of fun!!!

How you doing?
Love the shots, but I'm with David on this one, #2 is the winner.
And, just what were the eggs filled with? Jelly beans or some such?

They "hid" 500,000 eggs throughout certain areas around the park.
They did have sections for age appropriated children
ages 1-4 went to a certain part of the park
ages5-9 went somewhere else
age10-14 went somewhere as well
All the other eggs around the park were for anyone. I was there by myself with my 3 children and my daughter's friend and just did not want us to all seperate, so we did our "hunting" where everyone was allowed to be.
It was very funny all the adults that were gong crazy over eggs!!!
Thanks everyone for your comments!! Can't wait for the "real" bunny to come!!!
