One non macro just for good measure

Fun lens! :lust

Neighbours wondered why I was crawling around the garden on my knees.:D

All pics have been PP'd, number 4 got himself a colour cast, most have been cropped but none sharpened. I am still pretty ham fisted at sharpening.

These are among my first attempts at macro and any tips, pointers, critique are welcome.

Sorry for posting so many.:D

    Hooray for you Phil clap.gif
I love that Purple shot, you gonna be addicted to Macro's now for sure :D

Really helps you get in touch with Nature on a totally different level.
Flowers that just looked pretty, pre the Macro Lens, now look like amazing intricate structures.

Those bugs you saw flying or crawling or hop'in now have amazing detailed faces and jaws, not to mention the eyes .

The more you shoot the better you will get at it,
This lot look great, get the focus right doing Macro is not as easy as it looks.... the slightest movement can totally ruin a shot.

These things are learnt the more you shoot.

I think you gonna be just fine clap.gif .... Skippy

Phil, welcome to the world of macro...... you will love this lens, I have a 105 and use a number 3 close up lens on the front for those real close ups rather than tubes, but both work very well or can be used together........ have fun,

BTW... nice pixs, the purple flower is my choice

Ah, new toys - gotta love 'em. I've thought about picking up that lens myself. Looks like you're off to a good start with it.
