Hi - Ring-necked Parakeet enjoying the pickings of a local Cherry Blossom tree.
These birds now roam the Dutch coastal areas in their thousands and their population is swelling. Found mainly near forested areas.

Nikon D50 + Nikkor 18-200VR lens@ focal length 200mm. Settings: in aperture priority mode f/10, shutter speed 1/125 & iso 200.

Cheers - Herman

Very nice shot, which definitely does give a feeling of spring!

Ringnecked Parakeets are now also resident in Jo'burg.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
