I've been pretty quiet lately with not much time for shooting but a couple weeks ago I managed a couple hours out with little to shoot. So I made the most of it and got a couple decent shots. All at high ISO because I was too lazy to get the tripod off my back and it was pretty windy.
Bark pealing off an upturned root
The wild roses are starting to bud
A water drop hanging from some lichen covered bark.
And finally a crawfish that I almost stepped on

Hey there Nick, I love that first shot, it looks like orange peel.
The tree under it looks a bit like honeycombe.
As for Mr Crawfish, did he live? or did you have a heap of them,
enough for a decent feed
Take Care Nick.... wont be long and you'll be shooting Moutains again
