mother and son

I took this shot at the Amsterdam Zoo.

I converted the shot to BW, darkened the background and kept the eyes in colour.. do you like it? how could I improve it?

    I think you did a wonderful job on the conversion, it's a really powerful image. Look at mother's eyes expression, isn't it just breath taking? Thank you for posting this one! bowdown.gif

    Very effective capture and a good processing too. If it was me I would try to ligtne the gorillas a tad to make them stand out more form the background.
