Nice composition and subject, but I wonder if the B&W conversion couldn't be better. Were you fighting low light noise?
i just tried a little with mrs. g () and got a pleasant result just by curving up the entire exposure, then masking the entire layer, and then using a soft edge erase at 50% on her face and arms....
Thanks Rutt, yes the noise is pretty bad iso 1600 on the 10d is not so good, as I'm sure you know
Here's the adjusted version using andy's instructions....Thanks andy
any better??
wonderful - exactly the result i got. this would look really nice in a black frame, white matte, at 5x7 .....
so, i've arranged a shoot for you in "outer boroughs" of manhattan, come late april. i'll take mrs. g on a shopping trip through manhattan leave your plastic eh?
