thats what Laura and I tried for this weekend as we ventured out of the safety of the studio and shot in the back yard, I was able to come up with a couple keepers.... I love the idea (I just could not get the right smile) LOL

    Cool concept & mostly well executed. Your exposure is bang on and the shadow control is excellent.

    However, two things I don't care for...

    1) The lips are overdone
    2) The softfocus really dates the images.

    Thanks for the input... you work on an image for some time and you loose sight of the final

    Very pretty lady! I agree that it's overdone, though... The soft focus really makes the over sharpened (and beautiful!) eyes and mouth stand out a bit too much. Try backing off on the soft focus and I bet you'll get a better image!

    I love the lighting on the umbrella, too. Very nice!
