Found thid old farm building yesterday. I am a prairie girl, and love big skies. Blue sky in winter is its only saving grace IMO.
3 versions of the same landscape - 2 are actually the same shot w/ slightly different post processing.
Tell me if you like them, what you like about them, what should be different....
I feel like I am able to get landscapes that my mother would enjoy, but maybe no one else!

I guess of the three I prefer the middle one, but I guess I would like to see the buildind a little larger in the frame.

You cant see much of it and it looks like it would be interesting.

    :D

Put on some booties and hike out there in that white stuff... Or let a big lens do the walkin

Ann, I like the idea quite a bit, the lonely solitary barn and the big blue sky like you said.

I prefer the blue sky of the second image, but I think the snow is brighter and whiter in the first version.
The third image I think is less interesting - not close enough to the barn for close inspection, not far enough away like in the first two. Shooting in the winter can be great fun, the sky is so blue and clear. clap.gif

I like elements in both the first and the second. Blue sky in the second, whiter snow in the first. Is the second slightly sharper? How 'bout a combo?
