Sun Day Flowers

I am just starting on the macro road. But here is one of my first attempts. This is a local flower that flowers when the sun shines and lasts just a day.

Comments and critique welcome as I want to learn.

    Hi Graham, the highlight on the flower in the front is rather interesting.
    The petals themselves appear to be slightly transparent.

    That touch of colour in the centre of the flowers is quite pretty :D
    I really like the shot, but I would like to see it a bit lighter and brighter than what it is.

    Thank you all for your comments. Yes Skippy the petals are very fragile and slightly transparent.
