can we all give it up for norman rich an amazing photographer, he recently went up to a 20d and his work is so very good. and, he's a heckuva contributor, we'd be fortunate to have him part of our community.

so, please, take a look at his work, and then shout really loud in this thread so that he hears us and joins :D

Fantastic images, Norman. bowdown.gif How on earth do you get close enough to a bear to shoot at 45mm and fill the frame? Amazing. I assume all those shots are from your travels, or do you live in Alaska or some such place?

    Hey Norman,
Like Andy, I'm a longtime admirer of your work and your STF posts. You have been conspicuious in your absence. I don't even seeing you posting in the Canon forums.

I too, love the work in your galleries and would love to see you become a member of our small community mwink.gif We're a nice, slow paced forum and I've never seen a rude post since I've been here clap.gif

Anyhow, we'd love to have ya and I think you might really like it here thumb.gif

    See ya soon,

    Norm's a good teacher too
and has tried and tried and tried to get me to see his light and vision. Maybe someday we'll meet in person and communication will be clearer.

His photos are great, but more than that is his willingness to throw out a subject and invite participants to contribute their photos and he goes through great lengths to explain his concepts through their photo.

I can't even imagine what Norman will do with the mighty 20D. I had a look through those galleries the other day and they're very impressive.

Rumor has it that Norman is now "in the house" lurking about the place and checking it out. Probably won't be long before he makes an appearance.
