First mouse caught by this cat. Who knew mice made such good pillows? :D

Well, 'cute but disturbing' sort of sums up the world of cats, I'd say. We have two cats-- I love them both-- but sometimes they do the weirdest things. This particular cat used to try to nurse on our male black lab (the one featured in my avatar) as a kitten. Talk about 'cute but disturbing'!

What a good shot and great title:D. Gawd using it as a pillowrolleyes1.gifMine last summer brought four birds in the house in one day. All were alive and flying around the house. I bought a butterfly net and have gotten really good at capturing them. All the creatures are so terrified, I don't have the heart to make them wait for freedom while I try to take a pic.

Yeah, I hear you on that. Both cats wear bells, but it doesn't stop them from killing things. I don't mind the mice (or even squirrels-- in my yard the squirrels are invasive species from the east coast)-- but the bird killings-- that's where I try to draw the line. I've also rescued birds in the house. The best part is our black lab "points" (just like a pointing dog) so I always know if a bird is in the house because he'll hold a point on it! :D
