A quick snap of my daughters on their way outside by a large glass door. I love natural lighting.

Taken with a 50mm, f1.4 on a D2X.

    Simply gorgeous! Love it!!!

You know, I took a TOTAL double take on your older daughter. We have identical hair, similar teeth and the same eyes and eyebrows. Although it doesn't look like me at that age, if you took... well... a LOT of years off me, we could be twins! Weird... Maybe I'll look for a photo that shows it.

Anyway, this is a beautiful shot and you have two gorgeous daughters!! Amazing eyes....

I have to show you.... This is several years old and NOT taken by me, but you can see the similarities, I think.

Andi, that is indeed incredible! The face, eyes, hair, and smile all very similar!!

Perhaps I have distant relatives in Crested Butte!

Heh! Actually, my entire family is from the Massachusetts area so maybe we go back in that direction!

Yeah, it's amazing... And that picture of me doesn't do it justice. I keep coming back and getting the chills - it's freaky seeing almost your face on the computer!

I agree. I'm the world's worst natural light shooter (I light everything with strobes if possible!) so it's nice to see someone who can pull it off!

It is a beautiful shot! I love natural lighting and you captured great light with lovely expressions. A real keeper!

I must add that when I first saw it, my initial reaction was that they must be Andi's daughters (photogmomma)...I had just looked at her self portrait with her girls again and your daughter's smile and curly hair just seemed to connect with her in my mind. And then I thought, "Wait a minute, her oldest isn't quite that old," and I looked over to see whose post it was. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who noticed a resemblance. rolleyes1.gif

    You both have beautiful daughters!

    great shot, natural light rocks!

the window catchlights are great, it is difficult to get them in four eyes at the same time! I think Andi's Eleanor, Pathfinder's niece Eloise and Mitchell's oldest daughter all share SOME dna along the line! all gorgeous curly haired sweethearts. thanks for sharing.

I do think the color is great, you did a good job of controlling the highlights.

Hi Mitchell, your daughters are beautiful.
The natural light has worked well for you inside,
the soft pink clothing the girls are wearing adds to the warmth of this image.

    Lovely shot :D ....... Skippy
