Good Day

Can anyone tell me if the C-PL1L will work with the nikon 200-400 f4 VR? If not which rotatable circular polarizer do I need?

Thanks, shane

This is the wrong forum. Please ask in the accessories forum, not the 'sellers market'.

Hey, Mike - the OP had a Nikon specific question, so his query stays here. Thanks for the help.

Okay, but I'm a little bit confused why he should ask in the 'Flea Market'

Accessories seems like a more logical choice, as well as more people in that forum are likely to be able to help Shane, than in this sellers forum.

I agree, more traffic in the gear forum. However, I give people the benefit, I'm assuming Shane is trying to get his hands on the right filter, so by posting directly in the FM he's killing two birds with one stone.

That's true. I didn't see it from that perspective; although, if he doesnt get any answers in the next few days, he may just have to post there himself anyway :/.

The answer to your question (OP) is YES, the C-PL1L is the proper Drop in 52mm Circular Polarizer for the Nikkor 200-400mm f/4G AF-S VR ED-IF :-)

I have both... works great. Differences between the C-PL1L, C-PL2L and CL-PL3L are the drop in height which places the filter at the right axis vs the outer barrel diameter of the drop in filter location.

Hope it helps although it is a "few" months late rolleyes1.gif
