Ohhh nice try Laughing.gif. I'm yet to capture a flying bug, that must be really hard. It looks funny! BIF has a new meaning now! rolleyes1.gif

Bees are notoriously difficult to capture in flight. The pose here is great. I like the angle too. There is just a bit too much noise in the pic. Have you tried sharpening it with a photo editor? Also there is a product called Noise Ninja from Picture Code that really helps with the noise. This has saved quite a few photos of mine.

Hi there Courierman, I've tried to get a bee in flight a few times,
without success, just a blurred image as well.

Not so bad if they hover but the type of bee we have around here,
does not fly in a predictable pattern, nor do they sit for very long at all.

It's fun to try though...... thanks for sharing :D ... Skippy

    That's pretty cool!

In Gilles Martin's book, he shows us a frame to help with focus.
The frame is exactly like what under water photographers often use to help with issues of parallax. It's four rods that hold a small square off the front of the camera. Everything within the square is in focus. That sure makes it look a lot easier.
