Backprinting Is Very Light

I just received a personal order of three prints, one each 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20. The backprint with the copyright symbol and my web site address appeared OK on the 11x14, but on the 8x10 it was so light that you wouldn't know it was there unless you were looking for it, and it doesn't appear on the 16x20 at all. These prints were for my own use so I don't mind so much, but I have received my first outside orders from customers this week and I'm counting on that backprint to identify where the photos came from. You might want to mention this to the good folks at the lab.
By the way, the prints were fantastic . . . they almost look 3D.
Thanks,
Scott

My Web Site
I got an order back today that had backprinting that was so light that I couldn't read it. My customer had ordered a lot of prints and I was trying to double check the order. I couldn't read the image numbers or anything else!

But beware, it can't be too dark, lest the printing damage the front-side. They'll do what they can to make it more readable.

Hello All,
We are using mulitple types of output devices for the production of your prints, and each has a different backprinting mechanism. We have seen some issues with the Frontier backprinting devices and will address this with or QA team. In terms of the larger format prints, we do not currently offer backprinting, however, we are in the process of activating new large format Noritsu's that, I believe, have this capability. They will go up to 24" wide...I'll keep you posted.
Great to hear that the output is up to your quality standards...I love to hear this...
Cheers,
