domains and what I need to know

SmugMug gurus, I'm considering getting a domain registered, which I would in turn like to "overlay" over my smugmug galleries. So, typing www.mydomain.com will seamlessly bring the visitor to www.skoutas.smugmug.com.

Please tell me... is there anyplace that's "best" to register with (go daddy, networksolutions, etc.) and what is the process by which I'll be able to get email at steve@mydomain.com?

Oh... last question... can I do this with a power account? Or do I need a pro? (I can look this answer up after I put my daughter to bed, but I figured I'd ask now as it was relevant to the overall community's learning)

Yes, you'll need to go there and see how to do it, etc..
