#1 Path in a park I recently discovered
lps3_04.jpg

These 3 are different shots of the same area. I took roughly 40, but I'm not gonna subject you to all of em =-c) I don't know if cityscape is what ya'll might think as picturesque but I was always a fan of the "industrial landscape" as it was called in russia =c) plus those clouds area really purdy :D

I like the second of the burnt skies but wonder if you could run it through an HDR action to bring out just a little detail in the skyline. Feels a bit dark at the moment because of those buildings thrown completely into black.

    Pyro,
    Bump? Anyone?

First one is nice compositionally, but it lacks something je ne sais quoi... headscratch.gif

Second series reminds me too much of the dreaded novostroikas and "sleeping areas" (akin to "projects" here in US) for me to experience any warm fuzzy feelings ne_nau.gif

    I wish I were more helpful... rolleyes1.gif

I think the first shot is your strongest compositionally. But I agree with Nik, it lacks "something" to make it really stand out.

The sky is very interesting (#3 is my favorite), but the buildings in the foreground don't provide enough interest to me to really scream "picturesque". Love those clouds, though.
