I got my Nikon 105mm 2.8 VR for a few days ago and I had to do something to get softer light on the small creatures. So I got the idear of making my own softbox on my Nikon SB800 flash unit. I did it of a paper and two rubberbands.

More info about the Paper softbox on http://www.jlw.se/paper-softbox/
There is also a paper chart to download so you can make one yourself if you want. :-)

Hi there Viking, that's a pretty simple device you've made there clap.gif
In my travels I have learnt that Ants come in amazing sizes, here where I am the little black ants are amazing tiny, yet when I was in USA in Ohio the Ants were really big.

Makes a difference when trying to do Macro how big your subject is in the first place doesn't it :D

Thanks for posting your tutorial, your results are great thumb.gif
