    All Canon gear: Xti + 1.4 teleconverter + 25mm extension tube + 100mm macro lens. MR-14 EX rinf flash set to a 4:1 ratio and -1/3 FEC.

    If they let me get close then I've got about 2 seconds to get the framing that I want and be ready for them when they move into the area of the image where I want them (no cropping takes its toll...). Then I've got less than a second to correct the focus and press the shutter, so lots of deleted frames...

    Very well handled exposures. I have so much trouble with macros & exposure. You have got it by the tail !
