Email addresses display differently in email share

This is a "minor mystery" that has me somewhat baffled...

I'm using SmugMug's really neat email sharing feature more and more often...but I have one email address that keeps showing up as an oddity when I click on an invitation link in my Control Panel to see who has read and/or clicked. One address in the list displays with the full address ("Dad and Bette <yaddahyaddah@comcast.net>") instead of just the short format ("Dad and Bette") like ALL the other recipient addresses for my account. I even deleted the recipient and carefully re-entered it as a "new recipient", but the result is unchanged...still shows up as "Dad and Bette <yaddahyaddah@comcast.net>"

Is this a Comcast quirk?

Found the Ampersand (&) problematic, originally at least.

That's actually where I started, Andy, with several recipients....eg Dad & Bette, Bob & Alice, etc. But then I found the displayed output dropped the second name...so I dumped the ampersand in favor of the longer "and".

Trial & Error, repeat Trial and Error, is still a valid approach for guys like me.rolleyes1.gif

I'm speaking about the email part. Only do it like this:

    name@emailaddy.com

    NOT
