I was thinking while I was out today....that it is really the experience that counts and not whether you made a good shot or not.
I did find an eagle (or big hawk) nest today. I saw a raptor circling and perching all around the meadow. I think it was waiting for me to leave. I located possible shooting locations....so...the day may not have been a total bust.
You did good in some difficult shooting conditions. Its interesting hearing about that stuff because we don't experience it down here. :ivar
