But such a face!!! And dem feets, love bird feets. This is my Daily shot for today. I think he is cute, I also think he might be young, he is certainly new to the area. He does have to eat, and he might be looking for more meals in that shot. I was fortunate that he came towards me. At the same time, I was freaked as it all happened so fast that I just pushed the shutter on burst, tried to follow and hoped. I think this is my best shot. Don't know if it is at all soft, did not appear to be, but coming straight at you is a difficult shot for me to get. This is my all time "best" probably.

Enjoy. I will be gone with my daughter and family all day today. So, have a good one, ginger.

    Nice shot Ginger! thumb.gif Not a young bird though! You can tell the age of Red-tails by how light the eyes are. The younger birds have more pale-yellow and the older have darker brown eyes. First year red-tails have brown tails not red. He/she is probably migrating.
