    Cool shot, nice capture of the 'action'. The DOF seems a little off though-- try bumping up your aperture and bumping down the shutter speed. Or increase your ISO to get a smaller aperture-- the extention tube looks like it's limiting your depth of field quite dramatically-- even at f/9. If you could get this up to say f/16, I'll bet there would be even more detail on the ant in the foreground.

    All that said, I know it's easier to critic a shot like this than to shoot it-- ants are fast and there's not much time to capture them before they race off.

    Tks Pete. ISO was pumped up to 800 and I agree, f/16 it's a better choice. But in my defense, I was aiming for the eyes. Tks again.

    I see in a reply further down in this thread you said you were aiming for the eyes more than DOF, well you got those eyes spot on clap.gif
    Their little heads have a velvet look about them.
    You don't realize how big Ants choppers are till you see them close up :D
