Has anyone used this teleconverter? How do you like it? THis is the black 2X Af converter from tamron, not the white one.
Any help would be great.

Thanks

I have the black Tamron 2x N-AFd BBAR MC7 TC that I use with a Nikon 300/4 AF and it works great. However I only use it in good light. I have found that it likes to hunt in low light or when you don't have much contrast to focus with. I can also tell you that you'll not want to consider this if you want to use it on slower lenses. I suspect it would be hit-n-miss with a slower lens.

I'm sure its fine, but I'd really go for a Nikon Tc with this lens, f/4 -8 is a pretty big leap in aperture, and I'd really hate to have to hunt with this lens because I was using an off-brand teleconverter.
