i am totally blown away by these!!! you did an amazing job. I love the lightness of your conversions, they're so "airy". Can't think of another term.
i tried to sit down and pic my favorite but they are all so amazing. The joy in the first, the gorgeous momma and the tongue sticking out in the 2nd, his amazing eyes in color in the 3rd, and the sweet moment with handsome grandpa in 4!
These are definitely your best of Magnus yet...

Yea, that kid is photogenic....like my daughter in law . It's always fun to see them. Poor Magnus won't know what his grandpa looks like....he'll think I look like a camera lens
We'll only get to see him at this age once so I have to get as many images as possible (to get the really nice ones). Thanks for stopping by! Nick, I looked and looked at that stupid corner....worked on cloning it, didn't like how it was turning out..stopped, started again. Finally got it corrected:
Thanks for the comments on the conversions. As some of you know, I've immersed myself into this black & white thing to get it down. Shane, you really really opened my eyes and taught me some way cool stuff! Thank you. I always do at least 2 conversions comparing them side by side....certainly makes a difference as your eye can compare. Here on the screen shot you can see the difference. Was working on the left one, looking good to my eye, then did another conversion...whoa..big difference!

People shots are by far the most challenging and most rewarding. I agree, the expressions really make the shot...sure, all the technical aspects are important..but the mood, the feel, the moment...that's what we all strive for.
Thanks so much for weighing in...appreciate it a bunch
