Thanks david and everyone.. gubbsy I used the 50mm 1.4 (love that lens) handheld all weekend.. dare not get the big one out in the subway.. I'd be hitting people on the head with it..
By the way.. got mildly chastised by a woman for taking a shot of her child (tried to sneak it in) so I apologized like mad and offered to erase it in front of her right there... she smiled and said it was ok.. turns out she's a photographer...
Great Job
The composition and color rendering of the trains/street car shot is excellent. It really grabs my attention and holds it. The Museum shot is really an attention grabber as well.
These photographs would score high in any compitition in the country.

Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it is too dark to read !

thanks darryl and all.. I'm surprised really.. it was a quick shot I just happened to like. By the way Charles.. I quite like the black and white version.. It's the new lens... it takes pictures on it's own...

I like them both, but could you explain this second shot? Is it an art exhibit of some sort?

It's a fascinating ceiling and a great photo, at least I understand those aren't real people up there

These are both very nice shots. I like the train best. Nice colors and compo. The wave in the side walk pulls you into the shot. Very nice!
