Gloomy...last day of January.

Lonely and somehow sad.

Can't express why, but I like this one.

    I too have tried to get many old farm buildings like this one. Sometimes there just hard to pick just the right angle. You seem to have done a nice job with this one. thumb.gif

    I think you've composed a beautiful picture. The color pallette is nicely balanced. The bare, reaching branches of the tree are haunting. Nice.

    There are a number of old barn lovers here at dgrin. USAir and Greaper come to mind and I know there are others as well.
    Here is one from last year... Notice the snow blowing off the roof to the right!

    ...I was at the boundry of a Forest Preserve and this farm. So I had an angle that was a bit differant.
