WTB: Canon 300mm 2.8

Yeah, yeah...I know this is a long shot. Looking for a used 300 2.8 IS or non IS. Show me whatcha got. Maybe your buddy has one that his (or her:)) SO is tired of seeing collect dust in the closet. Perhaps someone from the local camera club is looking to offload this fine piece of glass. If so, please drop the dime and let me know so that I may help them properly dispose of unwanted gear (with proper compensation, of course) in the hope that new gear will come to them via freshly freed funds.
