I was trying to catch some dragonflies, but they were up on the tree, i had to get a chair. :rolleyes Imaging look my neighbors gave me? They think i'm totally lost it, i'm either crrawling on the ground or now, i'm climbing trees.... :dunno

This is all i could get, just couldn't reach far enough, oh well.

Hmmmmm....that's a 'not good day' for you? So, we have snow in the shady parts of the yard.

Anyway, the dragon fly has cool wings, but the lizards do it fo rme. I suggest trying an off center crop on the lizard peeking out of the fence slats - a little off the top and the left, I think, would make a big difference. I like that shot a lot, great DOF.

Thanks for sharing....I can dream of spring.......

Thank you Ann. You might be right about croping that lizard shot, i'll give it a try. I think we have a tornado warning, it's really nasty this morning here. No going outside period! I think i'll try to find some bugs inside the house.. :D

Hey Brian, thank you for the comments iloveyou.gif
Good day is when i actually get out and go somewhere, all this shots were PITA, i spent hours trying to find something to shoot. I was really excited about DF's, wish they were closer. I was going around and round and round the house. Oh boy, i'll definately have a rep as a "weirdo" of the neighborhood.rolleyes1.gif

    Lovely series of images, Marina.

The skies seem slightly noisy in your dragon fly shots for some reason. High ISO? The DFs themselves are very crisp.

I like the dew drop shots in your galleries a lot.

The lizard shots are great too - the gray wood and the lizard compliment each other nicely.thumb.gif

Holy Moly! You got some cool shots!

I iloveyou.gif this one, great colors and fun composition and focus/depth of field. Is this a hibiscus?
    143737792-S.jpg

And, while I think all of the lizards shots are cool (like you have REAL lizards in the WILD!) this one is my favorite: Great, sharp focus on this face, awesome depth of field and gorgeous green background bokeh!

Thank you Dalan. You can only imagine all the fun. Dogs running around barking while i'm the chair (mind you, i'm living on the golf course) shooting who knows what (neighbors and golfers can't actually see WHAT i'm shooting) that makes it really interesting for them. Then, my neighbor dogs come outsite and my male goes nuts running to his house while i'm crawling on the ground and trying to find bugs. I don't actually see my dog running toward my neighbor.... so i hear neighbor screaming at my dog while he's barking his head off. I'm running like a nutcase to the neigbor house with camera hanging on my neck flying in the air, dragging chair in my hands. Then as luck would have it, i spotted a lizard and don't you know, i forgot all about the dog barking terrorizing neighbor's dog, and started hiding behind the fence to catch that damn lizard. Needless to say, i managed to get my dog back, snap a DF picture, catch lizards and even make few flower shots in a matter of couple of hours. Aren't you proud of me? :D
Ok, that was fun for today, i need to go have a smoke now....
